Is the bill of sale generator free?
Yes. The generator is completely free to use. There is no account to create, no trial period, and no limit on how many documents you produce. We never charge for the documents you create here.
Do you store the details I enter?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser tab. We never upload, save, or transmit the seller name, buyer name, price, VIN, or any other field. When you close the tab, the data is gone. The only site-wide data we collect is anonymous, aggregate traffic through Google Analytics, described on our Privacy Policy page.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The generator is built to fit any screen, from a phone to a desktop monitor. Tap a type, fill in the fields, and generate — the layout adjusts so the form stays easy to use on a small screen, and you can print or save the result from your phone.
Can I save the bill of sale as a PDF?
Yes. After the document appears, open your browser’s print command and choose “Save as PDF.” No extra software or app is required, and the file is created on your device. Keep one signed copy for each party to the sale.
